Mr N Venkatesh Jayanthi MD, FRCS


Mr Jayanthi is a laparoscopic gastro-intestinal surgeon specialising in Bariatric Surgery & in the treatment of diseases of oesophagus, stomach and benign biliary conditions. 

Laparoscopic (keyhole surgery, minimally invasive or minimal access) surgery has proven to decrease hospital stay and complications. A combination of advancements in technology and surgical technique means that many complex operations can now be successfully performed through small cuts in the abdomen or chest. 

Mr Jayanthi is trained at leading bariatric and laparoscopic centres in UK and now has been appointed as a Consultant Surgeon at Broomfield Hospital, Chelmsford.
